There are only 5 sources where “RTIC outdoors” is officially selling their products.

  1. Amazon RTIC Shop

Kelty Low-Love Seat Camping Chair

Along with RTIC coolers we are recommending our favorite Outdoor Product which is a Loveseat Camping Chair. Kelty Low is a well known Outdoor product brand and This Love seat chair is one of their successful products in the outdoor Market.

RTIC is not selling these products with any of the superstores like Academy Sports or Ace hardware.

You may find RTIC coolers on walmart website but we will not recommend our viewers to purchase it from Walmart since all of those listings are from third party suppliers.

RTIC is headquartered in Houston, Texas and has its fulfillment centers at 5 different locations in the United States.

If you are in Houston and would prefer to walk into the store to buy RTIC coolers then their retail office is on Hempstead road.

RTIC Retail Shop

20510 Hempstead Rd, Houston, TX 77065

Phone – (855) 527-6993

RTIC Custom Shop address –

3900 Peek Rd, Katy, TX 77449

We tried to find the address of other fulfilment centers, but we could not find one. Either they are not active and RTIC has dropped a plan to open those centers, or being in Houston, Tx we are not able to find RTIC shop addresses in other cities. But since those are not easily searchable, we doubt if those shops were in operation.

Where to buy RTIC coolers? Amazon... Why?

Your purchase is protected by Amazon’s A-to-Z safe buying guarantee and with the purchase of RTIC cooler you also get the RTIC 1 year limited warranty which you can directly claim on this link.

RTIC outdoors website is also safe, but I preferred Amazon since my Credit card and personal data is already with them.

I do not share my personal details and Credit card details unless I do not have any other option.

I do not prefer to share my personal details and Credit card details unless I do not have any other option.

And sites like Amazon will have more advanced data security than product companies like RTIC. This was my assumption but one of the reader rightly pointed out in the comments section that Larger organizations are prone to most cyber attacks as compared to small organizations. Now, I think data security should not be an issue at RTIC official website

Is there any shipping policy?

Both Amazon and RTIC outdoors offer a Free shipping policy and your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days. I had placed an Order on Amazon and I received the shipping notification within an hour. Maybe I had placed the order during their Order processing time for the day.

What is their return policy?

Amazon and RTIC both are having a 30 days return policy.

Since you are buying an RTIC cooler from Amazon,

Please refer to the Amazon.com Return Policy and Amazon.com Refund Policy

In case you are buying an RTIC cooler from RTIC outdoors website, please note that there is a restocking fee of 15% for items of retail value more than $500.

Please refer to the return policy of RTIC outdoors.

For returns, RTIC will send you the prepaid label and you just need to return the goods as it was received.

We tried to find RTIC coolers at popular stores – Academy sports, Dick sporting goods, REI, and all of them returned zero results.

Why is RTIC not selling their products in Retail Outlet stores?

RTIC coolers are not available at Academy or Home Depot or any other stores . And this is the reason we always get asked the same question, “Where to buy RTIC coolers?”

RTIC has made it clear in their FAQ page, that they are a “Direct to Retailer” brand and do not believe in selling products via big box retailers. It makes sense for a brand like RTIC who carries a tagline of “Overbuilt, not Overpriced”. RTIC manufactures their Hard coolers with a technology that is expensive to make the products, and that is Rotomolding a plastic.

Using the best technology doesn’t really leave more margins for RTIC especially when they are trying to sell the products at lower prices than its competition.

Cutting out the big box retailers, RTIC aims to benefit their customers.

Where RTIC Coolers are Made?

RTIC coolers are made in China. Some of the components are sourced from other countries, but the assembly and final packaging takes place in China. RTIC outsources production to a factory that specializes in injection molding and extrusion. The factory is located in the Guangdong province, which is known for its large manufacturing industry.

RTIC has a team of quality control inspectors who oversee production and ensure that the coolers meet their high standards. The company has also invested in state-of-the-art equipment to help with the manufacturing process. Ultimately, RTIC’s goal is to provide their customers with a high-quality product at a competitive price.

  1. Rtic needs to build more stores in more states because Amazon doesn’t stock their products regularly and have been out of stock on 95% of their products for over a year.

Sadly most products have also been out of stock for quite a long time on the main rtic website as well…

    1. That’s a Pain. Usually during peak summer time we always have inventory issues.
I hope, RTIC will plan their productions based on the market feedback from last 2-3 summers.

  2. “And sites like Amazon will have more advanced data security than product companies like RTIC.” This is a presumption on your part. Huge corporations and governments are routinely hacked because all it takes is one misconfigured device (how complex is a large organization?) Please leave speculative language out of your articles, it is misleading.
