We carried Igloo Trailmate cooler on a beach on the day when it was 95 degrees on the scale. It was fully loaded with the beer cans and food, and filled the rest of the part with solid Ice. We were opening and closing it quite often during the day.
The Igloo trailmate lost some ice on the third day of the trip. I believe it was the frequent opening of the cooler that caused the cooler to transfer some heat inside. For days, it did well, there was an Ice and water mix when we left the site on the 4th day. when we were ready to leave, Igloo trailmate cooler kept our beverages cool as we needed it.

It has a fishing rod holder on the side, cup holders on the lid and a dry box to hold our valuables safe when we are playing in the water, these main features definitely make it a valuable fishing day cooler.
Seat on the cooler and keep the fishing rod hooked in the rod holders. With its Glide handles and pull up handles it is easier to move in and move out of the boat. It is a lot bigger than it looks so it will consume a considerable space on your boat. It is definitely not made to use on the small canoe boats or other smaller boats.
